Bespoke pendant in memory of Mum
'I met Ruth at Melbourne Arts Festival and was drawn to her work. We got chatting and I decided Ruth was the person I wanted to do a special commission for me. The commission was to make a necklace from my late mother’s wedding ring incorporating two diamonds that I also had and sourcing an aquamarine to complete the design. The whole process was a joy from start to finish. On a visit to her workshop, Ruth took time to chat with me and really understand exactly what I was wanting (who knew there were so many decisions to make about designing a pendant?!). Ruth kept me posted about how the piece was progressing and I now have the finished necklace. Although Ruth had sent me gorgeous photos, it was an emotional moment seeing mum’s ring in its new design ‘in the flesh’ for the first time. The piece is absolutely stunning and I am delighted with what Ruth has created. The necklace is everything I wanted it to be and more! Thank you, Ruth, for a unique experience and a very special piece of jewellery. I will always recommend you.'

Queen of Hearts for a 16th birthday
'The pendant arrived this morning, it's absolutely perfect and I couldn't be happier. My daughter will be delighted when she sees it! I'm itching to give it to her now but know I must be patient lol!! Loved the little box and ribbons too (and the sweetie)... I can't thank you enough for bringing this idea to life under such a tight deadline and won't hesitate to contact you in the future if I have any future commissions.'
Memory ring with a secret
I worked with horse-rider Katy to design a hard-wearing ring which would withstand her job as a dog-groomer and her work around the farm. We designed a simple band with a hidden hollow section that holds a tiny amount of Katy's mum's ashes, held safely in place by a tiny 9ct gold stopper. Perfect and unshowingly sentimental.
